This colorful, spring themed square tablecloth is a pleasant reminder that wintertime has finally ended. The tablecloth features a light, grass green background that perfectly complements the color pallet used for the rest of the design. Placed at the bottom right hand corner of the tablecloth is a mother hen and a pair of bright yellow baby chicks. They are surround by a number of flowers colored orange, blue and white. Each of the flowers has a yellow center that matches to the baby chicks. Also pictured are a few patches of dark green leaves that imply more flowers are about to sprout.
On each of the three remaining interior corners, a third wayward baby chick is pictured. It is surrounded by the same lovely flowers. A bluish white butterfly hovers over the chick, reinforcing the springtime theme. A square of dark green stitching traces the interior border, linking all of the elements together. Yet more flowers are scattered along the exterior border, with an orange flower at each corner. This linen’s impressive use of color makes it readily apparent why Funke is widely known for creating only the highest quality German table linens.
