Linen Oval Table Runner - Cream with Winter Chalet Scene & Deer

This winter themed oval table runner depicts a traditional German cottage covered in deep snow. Placed around the cottage are three pine trees. The snow on the pine trees and cottage is highlighted with lovely golden thread, as is a pathway that winds between the small hills that surround the house. The house is done in differing hues of brown that mimic the wooden timbers used in its construction. In the foreground is a snow covered woodpile.

Next to the woodpile are two deer. The deer and woodpile are colored a deeper brown that matches well to the brown tones of the cottage. This scene takes place at the base of the runner. On the opposite end are four elegant, tear shaped cutouts. They are joined together by a fanciful, swirling pattern of stitching. Bright golden thread in a star-like pattern runs along the interior border, linking the winter scene and the cutouts together.
