Smoker by Ulbricht - Black Forest Fellow with Cuckoo Clock

This classically German hand carved smoker is dressed in the traditional outfit of a Schwarzwälder, or Black Forest fellow. The body lifts away from the feet to house the incense cone, and smoke flows gently from the mouth when the smoker is in use.

His outfit features a large black top hat with a red band, a light red buttoned vest over a white shirt, a flowing black felt cape, and black pants and shoes. Of course, no Black Forest fellow would be complete without his very own Black Forest clock. And this cheerful smoker proudly holds one in his hands. The clock is light brown with a white clock face and Roman numerals, green and white trim, a pine cone detail on top, and small white weights hanging below. A red and yellow cuckoo bird pops out to announce the hour, completing this charming piece of German craftsmanship.

Q: How does this German smoker work?
A: The upper body lifts to reveal a metal plate where you place a small incense cone. When lit, the smoke gently escapes through the mouth, creating a cozy scent and lifelike effect.

Q: What does the Black Forest Fellow represent?
A: He symbolizes the craftsmen of Germany’s Black Forest region, known for their woodcarving traditions and world-famous cuckoo clocks.

Q: What size incense cones fit this smoker?
A: This model works with mini or medium incense cones, both available on our website.
