8-Day traditional Black Forest hunter style coocoo clock. The dark stained solid wood clock features a hunted rabbit and pheasant on each side, framed against a continuing trim pattern of woodland leaves and ivy. A hunting horn encircles the clock’s dial, while a powder pouch hangs at the bottom of the base. Above the dial, the dancers spin to the music on a carved balcony. The top features crossed rifles, ivy growing on the trim and a stag head.
Hare and pheasant in detail frame the dancers as well as the dial of this August Schwer cuckoo clock.
