The Moravian church began the tradition of the star in the 1830’s in Niesky, Germany at the Moravian Boy’s School where the first example of the Moravian star was made. Since this time, the Moravian star has become popular as a decoration during Christmas and also year round both in Germany and around the world. This product is made with traditional old world quality by original Moravian star manufacturer, Herrnhuter Sterne.
