This beautiful, Christmas arch is a charming example of the traditional German Christmas candle holder called a Schwibbogen. This Christmas Schwibbogen uses battery powered led lights which are convenient and provide a warm back light for the design. The Schwibbogen features a wood grain colored arch design above a square platform. The arch is lined with white snowcapped evergreen trees with traditionally styled German houses behind them in the snowy background. The platform features a village scene with a back drop of the night sky with a crescent moon, snowcapped houses and a large snow covered church. In front of this back drop, two buildings, one with a fence, sit at each corner of the village and a Christmas tree and a streetlight sit towards the center of the village. The winter scene is made complete with three figures of children from the village who are skiing, sledding and making snowballs while dressed in light and dark wood grain colored winter attire. In front of the children stands a brown dog, cheerfully barking in celebration of the season and a large orange and wood grain colored toy train.
