This beautiful and intricately carved wooden statue of a traditional German mountain climber with his climbing rope is hand carved from maple wood and painted with oil based paint in a beautiful variety of blended and lightly textured colors. The design also features gold plated accents painted along the edges of many of the lines throughout the sculpture. From his traditional Tyrolean hat to his classic alpine style leather and cloth mountaineering attire, this statue is an amazingly lifelike representation of a traditional German mountain climber.
