This vintage style sign features the crest for Bavaria's most famous brewery/ beer hall, the Hofbräuhaus. The "hof" in the name refers to "court" in German, as the brewery was once the Royal brewery owned by the Kings of Bavaria and later by the Bavarian government. The Hofbräuhaus continues this tradition to date as it still uses original recipes handed down by Wilhelm V, Duke of Bavaria.
