Decorated in a design of beautiful tan and brown half-timbered trim, this timepiece is a lovely example of the quintessential Black Forest chalet cuckoo clock. Resembling a quaint chalet nestled in the woods, the cottage is cheerily decorated with red shutters and floral boxes on the windows, and a chimney stack from the gabled roof.
Below the cuckooing bird, people spin around on an open upper balcony to the charming tune of the music box. At the base, two gentlemen are seated at a table, both holding glasses of beer. As the melody plays, the drinkers raise their glasses up and down for a toast, clacking their mugs against the table. Next to the patrons, a waitress stands carrying more glasses of beer - she moves from side to side, as if walking, in time to the cuckoo calls. Next to this charming tableau, a rustic waterwheel in front of the chalet lazily spins about. The scene is further complimented by the intricate details of large trees, a fence, stones, and a pile of logs.
