Carved German Smoker - Bavarian with Carved Pretzel and Stein
Finely handcrafted German smoker
Handmade in the Erzgebirge region of Germany
6.9 inches tall
This stunning hand carved German smoker is dressed in the traditional German outfit of a Bayer, a German term meaning a real Bavarian. The body lifts away from the feet to house the incense cone and smoke flows from the mouth when the smoker is in use. His outfit features a dark green Tyrolean hat with white edelweiss flower in the intricately patterned red and green band, a blue and white plaid bow tie, a light red colored jacket with brown buttons, light brown pants, black shoes and an ornamental silver chain belt with round silver ornaments. This proud Bavarian is holding his grey beer stein and a large pretzel as he has a relaxing drink in the Biergarten. The blue and white colors of the Bavarian flag and the edelweiss flower which is a popular symbol of Bavaria are proudly on display.
