This watchful village guardian in the form of a hand carved nutcracker is dressed in the traditional working attire of a night watchman. His outfit features a large black cavalier style hat, a navy blue jacket with gold buttons, white pants and large black work boots. This watchful, always vigilant night watchman holds his trusty halberd and wooden lantern which shines with a bright yellow glow as he carries them to begin his nightly patrol. The glaze finish on this nutcracker highlights the beautiful paint and wood grain details.
