Designed by artist Selina Haas, this canvas print depicts a blonde woman standing amidst the woods of the Black Forest. The woodlands provide a beautiful and serene backdrop, as the young woman looks upon them. Along her back, is draped a Bollenhut – the formal headdress worn by women of the Black Forest. In contrast to the black and white background, the colors of the Bollenhut, particularly with its red pom-poms, provide a colorful accent to the picture.
