This Beer Stein is a tribute to the fire department.
On the front You can see a fireman trumpeter holding a hose in one hand and a trumpet in the other. The trumpet was used in the past to give orders. There were different melodies that were played to gather the firefighters or to "turn on the water". On the side of the Beer Mug is written: Good Hose! Which can be a greeting among firemen as well as a toast when drinking beer. On the top and bottom rim you can read: "Sorget, dass bei einem Brand, was zum Loeschen an der Hand. Zu helfen, wo an Hilfe Not, ist unserm Bund ein streng Gebot!"
"Ensure that in case of fire, there is something on hand to extinguish. To help where help is needed is a strict commandment of our covenant!
