Silent Night, introduced in 2016, is a gentle and melodic figure from the ANRI Ferrándiz Nativity collection, capturing a quiet moment of music and reflection within the Nativity scene. Designed in the beloved childlike style of Spanish artist Juan Ferrándiz, the figure expresses the warmth, innocence, and peaceful spirit that define his work.
A young boy stands absorbed in his music as he plays a traditional shawms or clarinet, creating a serene and joyful moment. He is dressed in brown trousers, brown shoes, a soft blue jacket, and a yellow scarf wrapped warmly around his neck. His peaceful expression suggests the calm beauty of a silent Christmas night filled with music.
Beside him, a small red bird listens attentively, adding a charming storytelling detail that enhances the sense of quiet harmony within the scene.
Each figurine is hand-carved from fine Alpine maple in Italy and carefully hand-painted in soft, warm tones, highlighting the delicate features and expressive style that made Ferrándiz designs beloved around the world.
As part of ANRI’s discontinued Ferrándiz line, Silent Night is now a rare and collectible figure, treasured by collectors of ANRI carvings and Ferrándiz Nativity scenes.
