ANRI Nativity Bernardi Set
Andreas – New 2019 is a lively and expressive figure from the ANRI Bernardi Nativity collection, designed by master South Tyrolean sculptor Ulrich Bernardi. Introduced in the final year of ANRI’s production, this piece represents one of the last additions to this cherished and now discontinued series.
Andreas is depicted as a youthful traveler, standing mid-step with an animated expression and slightly open mouth, as if speaking or calling out. His posture and facial expression bring a sense of movement and storytelling, adding life and personality to the nativity scene.
He is dressed in simple rustic clothing, including a light shirt, worn trousers, and a casually slung hat, with a walking stick in hand and a small bundle at his side. These details reflect Bernardi’s focus on everyday life and natural character, capturing a moment that feels both authentic and dynamic.
Expertly hand-carved from fine Alpine maple and hand-painted in warm, natural tones, this figurine showcases the craftsmanship of ANRI artisans in South Tyrol, Italy.
