This beautifully decorated Christmas themed large table runner is done in a deep red color that makes it a very unique piece. Pictured on either end of the runner is an arrangement of holly, a Christmas bell and two candles. The candles are situated as the centerpiece, one slightly taller than the other, with the Christmas bell at their base. The bell and the candles are detailed with a lovely pink color. The bell is surrounded by deep green holly branches and leaves. Each element is either outlined or detailed with shining golden thread, including the flames of the candles.
Beneath the candles and bells, fanciful swirls of red stitching, also outlined in gold and accented with stars, traces the curve of the base of the runner. This design is complimented by an arch of yet more golden stars of varying complexities. In the center of the runner is a smaller arrangement of holly and branches. Similar patterns of red and gold stitching extend outwards from the holly. This linen’s stunning use of color makes it readily apparent why Funke is widely known for creating only the highest quality German table linens.
