This cheerfully themed table cloth is a pleasant reminder of Spring. It also makes for a unique Easter decoration. The scene plays out on lovely shade of light, grass green. A hen and a pair of her bright, yellow chicks are seen clustered together amongst a field of colorful flowers and butterflies. Their colors are chosen to compliment the light green of the rest of the linen. The hens and chicks are repeated at each corner of the interior border, which is dark green.
A third wayward chick is placed along each of the four sides of the border, serving to tie the scene together. Additional flowers of white, orange and purple are strewn about the edges of the linen, just as they would be seen scattered amongst a grassy field. The exterior border is scalloped and edged with dark green embroidery. It is readily apparent why Funke is widely known for creating only the highest quality German table linens.
