Hello, what does it mean by 8-day? Also, how do you secure the cuckoo clock to a wall?

Hello. Thank you for your questions. This is a mechanical clock with metal pine cone shaped weights driving the mechanism. As the weights drop towards the floor they need to be pulled up once a week (8 day) or anytime sooner.
There is a hole to hang the clock on the back side. See photo.
