This Beer Stein is a homage to the Oktoberfest.
While on the upper border you read "O' zapft is & Oans, zwoa, g'suffa!" which means: "It's tapped & One, two...drink!" at the bottom you see "Ein Prosit der Gemuetlichkeit" (A toast to well-being) and "Gruss vom Oktoberfest" (Greetings from Oktoberfest).
The relief on the beer mug shows a brewer at the tapping, while a musician plays songs on his accordion and a waitress in her dirndl brings several beer mugs to the tables.
