This simple gray Beer Mug captivates by the elaborate logo, where two lions hold a Crest, with the letters H and B on the Bavarian diamond pattern and a golden crown above.
Founded in 1589 as a Ducal Brewery, the logo, which used to consist only of the crown and the letters H & B, was first registered in 1879 with the Munich District Court and shortly thereafter with the Imperial Patent Office in Berlin and declared a trademark.
For many, even today is a sign of good German beer and Gemütlichkeit (coziness).
