If you have a battery-operated cuckoo clock and you want to spring forward in the spring, simply turn the minute hand clockwise by 1 hour.
In the fall when you want to fall back one hour, please follow these steps: remove the batteries, turn the minute hand clockwise until both hands point to 12 and the clock shows 12 o/clock. Then reinsert the batteries and set the correct time. Please make sure to let the cuckoo call at the full hour or switch to silent and then set the correct time. Don't forget to switch the sound back on if you silenced the clock.
If you have a mechanical cuckoo clock, move the minute hand forward 1 hour clockwise in the spring. In the fall, you can either stop the clock and start it again one hour later or silence the clock and then move the minute hand forward clockwise until the clock shows the current time. Never move the shorter hour hand! Never move clock hands counterclockwise!
