Here are the instructions:
Turn the minute hand clockwise until it points to 12 o'clock.
Open the back cover and insert two (for clocks with music three) batteries. Put the back cover back on.
Hang the clock on the wall and attach the pendulum.
Turn the minute hand clockwise, round and round until the clocks shows the correct time. Important: Let the clock strike every full hour.
Should the time not correspond to the number of cuckoo calls, please proceed as follows:
Example: If the clock strikes twice, turn the hour hand to II.
If the clock strikes nine times, turn the hour hand to IX.
On the left hand side of all Q clocks, you will find a switch for the sound: high - low -off
Respectively, for all QM and QMT clocks: music on, music off and off.
In this switch is a light sensor which causes the cuckoo strike to switch off during the night.
The batteries must be exchanged if the bird's door does not open or close anymore or if the clock is slow.
