The VdS is the Verein die Schwarzwalduhr or Black Forest Clock Association of which Fehrenbach Black Forest Clocks is a proud member. The certificate of authenticity shows that the cuckoo clock is of Black Forest origin only and meets the association's strict guidelines of quality.
