This colorful spring square table linen is a pleasant reminder that wintertime has finally ended. The linen features a light, grass green background that perfectly complements the color pallet used for the rest of the design. Placed at the bottom right hand corner is a bright yellow baby chick. It is surrounded by three lovely flowers colored orange, blue and white. Each of the flowers has a yellow center that matches the baby chick. There are patches of darker green as well that imply more flowers are about to sprout.
A blue and white butterfly hovers over the chick reinforcing the springtime theme. The three flowers are repeated on each of the remaining corners, each with its own dark green sprout. A square of dark green stitching traces the interior border, linking all of the elements together. Although the design is fairly simple, this linen’s use of color makes it readily apparent why Funke is widely known for creating only the highest quality German table linens.
