This beautiful, German, decorative wooden weather house is a charming example of the traditional German folk art device, the weather house. This clever device reports the temperature and humidity in a fun and unique way. When the weather is dry, the Black Forest woman figure comes out to stand in front of the house and enjoy the nice day and when the weather is humid the Black forest man figure comes out to brave the tough day. This weather house features a Musikstadl or music barn as a house with a Black Forest woman in a summer dress and a Black Forest man wearing a traditional German outfit featuring Lederhosen. Outside the house, a band of traditional German musicians use this Musikstadl for its intended purpose, to really come alive with music as they serenade the happy couple! A wood pile and an evergreen tree complete the relaxing alpine scene.
