This opulent cuckoo clock is a unique twist on the classic chalet style clock. Rather than depicting a woodland chalet or Brauhaus, this clock takes its inspiration from a stately village townhome. Decorated in an intricate half-timbered design, the chalet prominently features the cuckoo popping out from its door on the third floor, as below, dancers spin on the open balcony.

The base is designed to reflect a stone foundation, with several arched doors and entryways, resembling a village street. A nightwatchman stands, moving his lantern up and down, to guide two children along the road. Next to them, two gentlemen stand at an elevated table – one with a hunting rifle slung over his shoulder, and offering a bottle to the other gentleman. In front of them, beneath the table, a dog sits. Other adornment details include stone and chain fencing and a signpost.
