This cuckoo clock loudly and proudly proclaims Bavaria! as it is heavily decorated with the designs and patterns of the affectionately nicknamed Freistaat auf Bayern. With its colorful customs and rich history, Bavaria is the most easily recognizable region of Germany. This cuckoo clock possesses many unique features, first and foremost being its white base color. This is complimented by the light blonde trim above the clock face and along the roof peak. The trim is repeated along the base which serves to ground the cuckoo clock compositionally. As it is a Bavarian style Chalet, the roof is comprised of tiles, which are red. A water wheel with blue accents on its blades turns as two traditionally dressed German men drink their beers in time to the music. A highly detailed German Biergarten wraps around the side of the cuckoo clock from which emerges a moving Bier Frau! The cuckoo clock actually bears her name, Zenzi, as it is an old-fashioned Bavarian waitress name. As the music begins to play she approaches the table clutching several large, heavy beer mugs in her mighty arms to serve the beer drinkers another round. This cuckoo clock also features the colors of the Bavarian coat of arms on its shutters and dancers that spin as the music plays.
