This delightful 8-day chalet clock displays a rustic and woodsy mill within the forest. Beneath the overhang of its gabled roof, waltzing couples twirl atop the cottage’s balcony, as the cuckoo bird pops out from its door above. Adorning the high peak of the chalet’s sloping roof, a small tower rests with a miniature bell. Further decorative elements to the quaint mill house include windows bedecked with green shutters and flower boxes, intricate trim hanging beneath the sheltering roof, and a stone wall design wrapping around the base.

Surrounding the woodland chalet, a charming tableau of nature is depicted. Resting at the far side of the cottage, the mill’s waterwheel spins around languidly to the tune of the clock’s music box upon the hour. Resting in front of the wheel, a small fawn lies amongst the forest foliage, flanked by fir trees on either side. In the center, beneath the timepiece’s dial, rests a well-worn wooden water pump and trough, with a stack of wooden logs and water jugs sitting close by.

On the opposite side, a German boy carries a baby goat in his arms, as an elder goat walks alongside them. Fir trees and a weathered wooden fence standing amongst forest foliage compliment the scene. At the very far end, an old well covered with a sheltering roof rests against the side of the chalet.
