This hardworking village man is shown in mid-journey, with a basket strapped to his back and a bucket in hand. His yellow tunic, brown cloak, and wide-brimmed hat complement his long grey beard and timeworn expression. A wonderful representation of rustic daily life, this figure adds depth and realism to the Bernardi Nativity scene. Hand-carved in Italy and part of ANRI’s discontinued Bernardi collection, this is one of the final pieces available. A must-have for dedicated collectors.
