The Holy Family consists of 3 figurines and the manger. Mary, wearing a red dress and blue cape with golden lining and a cream headscarf, is kneeling to the left of Baby Jesus in the manger. Infant Jesus is clad in cloth and lying on a straw lined wooden manger. Baby Jesus is removeable from the manger. Joseph, wearing sandals and dressed in gray with darker cape with golden lining is standing to the right of the manger and is holding a lantern with both hands.

The wooden stable made of Sycamore maple features a roughly hewn base for the figurines of the nativity set. There are split-rail fence sections on both sides of the stable and a third fence sits on the back left corner. A rounded door at an angle on the left front leads to the inside of the wooded stable made of sycamore maple. The upper story underneath the roof is a hay storage and covered with boards. The roofline is rather flat and features stones and dried moss.
