This ornate chalet clock celebrates the festive scene of a jovial Bavarian Biergarten. As the cuckoo bird calls from its top window, the bell chimes in time from atop the rustic gabled roof. While the music box plays, dancers twirl around from the quaint balcony, decorated with floral arrangements. At the base of the timepiece, a merry Biergarten scene is taking place. A horse-drawn beer wagon, carrying kegs full of drink, is arriving with the driver pulling up and down on the reins in sync with the cuckoo bird. Behind the cart, a water wheel spins around languidly with the clock’s music.

Across from the wagon, two patrons are seated – one at a bench, the other at a table – each enjoying a Bavarian pretzel and a mug of beer. The Biergarten’s waitress carries several glasses of beer, as she spins around on a circular turntable disappearing into the Brauhaus. The door swings open, as the waitress emerges once again, bringing mugs of beer to serve the patrons.
