Our traditional style cuckoo clocks come in railroad station house, nature and hunter styles. These cuckoo clocks have a more classic look that pre-dates the chalet (house) style. Common traits are a natural wood look with leaves, birds and other animals such as bears, owls and deer, the stag being the most common. Hunter cuckoo clocks often also have a horn, bag and rifles. All are hand carved in the German Black Forest.

The solid wood traditional hunter style clock features a rabbit on his hind legs on the right edge of the clock and a pheasant looking up on the left edge. The cross-hatched front is decorated with oak leaves. A hunter’s pouch is featured at the bottom. The dial is encircled by a horn. Dancers spin on a balcony underneath the cuckoo bird. The roaring stag with large antlers stands above crossed rifles at the top of the clock.
