This handmade German beer boot stein (das Boot) in ivory and cobalt shows traditional scenes from Germany.
On one side you see a Knight in an archway. The Inscription under the Knight reads: Brave, Happy with Beer.
On the other side you see a Scientist in the Archway. The Inscription under the Scientist reads: Wise, that we praise.
On the front and back are two signs that read:
Front: "Sei Meister auch im Trinken. Laß Meister den Trunk nicht sein"- "Be a master in drinking, don't let the drink be your master."
Back: "Wenn andere zu Boden sinken, Trink aus und geh dann heim" - "Once others sink to the ground, drink up and then go home."
