This large, lovely table runner is the perfect addition to any spring decorating scheme. Pictured on either end of the runner is an impressive golden primrose flower. The blossoms are set upon a vibrant green stem with similarly colored leaves. Smaller primroses that are just about to sprout can be seen around its base. Three bright white and yellow daisies are placed to either side of the primrose. Centered along the exterior border are two more daisy flowers surrounded by more green leaves.
Six red and black lady bugs march in two lines of three down the center of the runner, further reinforcing the springtime theme. To finish the piece, a scalloped line of yellow stitching runs around the interior border linking the two primrose flowers together. Finally, a line of white stitching runs along the exterior border, matching well to the color pallet used throughout the rest of the runner. When viewing this runner, it is readily apparent why Funke is widely known for creating only the highest quality German table linens.
