This winter themed square tablecloth depicts a traditional German cottage covered in deep snow. Placed around the cottage are three pine trees. The snow on the pine trees and cottage is highlighted with lovely golden thread, as is a pathway that winds between the small hills that surround the house. The house is done in differing hues of brown that mimic the wooden timbers used in its construction. In the foreground is a snow covered woodpile. Next to the woodpile are two deer. The deer and woodpile are colored a deeper brown that matches well to the brown and tan tones of the cottage. This scene takes place at each of the four corners of the tablecloth.
Overtopping each cottage are six elegant, tear shaped cutouts. Four more cutouts are centered between each corner, completing the composition. Surrounding the cutouts is a fanciful, swirling design that links them all together. Bright golden thread stitched in a star-like pattern is set in the middle of the tablecloth. The line of the thread matches to the lines of the exterior border. Viewing this table linen makes it easy to see why Funke products are sought after for their attention to detail and quality.
